Postcards From Nature

May 16, 2013

Finally I have some time to edit and arrange all photos captured recently. There're perhaps a few hundred. Yikes.

It's been a while since I got in touch with the mother nature. It's been so long since I last saw the sea and entered a jungle. What I'm facing everyday are my laptop, gadgets and the freaking horrible traffic jam.

Plus the weather is hot and stuffy, it reminds me of the coolness of the Rainbow Waterfall in Sg Lembing.

And also, chocolate ice cream. A good, rich and cold chocolate ice cream, with peanut sprinkles and chocolate chips on top.

I saw this little creature happily nibbling a young leaf. It definitely had a good taste when it comes to choosing food, or else it wouldn't grow into the fatness of my pinky finger. And I was wondering how it would look like when it turned into a butterfly.

We have a pregnant cat wandering around, meowing loudly whenever she is hungry. Maybe it's her instinct to protect her babies, she was never friendly to us. That catty cat.

And erm, I snapped not one, but many photos of A Chicken. You can laugh at me, but it's been a while since I last saw a living chicken. And there were freshly-laid eggs still sitting in its nest. Fascinating.

The weather is terribly hot but this is one of the the times extremely suitable for backlit portraits. I love the halo effects around the subjects.

Halo effects. The sun is saying Hello.

The weather was beautiful, the sky was intensely blue. It was a glorious day. And I had been so wrapped up in my own complicated thoughts that I had paid no attention to it.

Suddenly I looked up and realized that I'm surrounded by goodness and natural beauties.

See, the leaves are showing you some love. =)

Take care and have a lovely week!
