The national flower for South Korea is rose of sharon (mugunghwa, 木槿花). In fact it belongs to the same family and genus of our national flower, the hibiscus. Mugunghwa is also the name one of their railway systems.

Back in 2006 when I started my Form 6, I was quite the opposite of who I am now. Hahaha. I was quiet and not confident, and couldn't even speak proper English and only mingled with people I was familiar with. Then this girl, Sharon came to the rescue, she became one of my best friends and most treasured friends ever. She's sweet and kind. We went through some hard times together, real hard times. I'm glad I have her. xo
